KRISTEN WYNNS, Ph.D.
A Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Wynns earned a Doctorate and Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from UNC Greensboro. She is a specialist in child, adolescent, and family psychology, providing individual, play, and group therapies. Dr. Wynns is an expert in conducting psychoeducational evaluations across the academic spectrum, including testing for Learning Disabilities (LD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Academically Gifted (AG), I Q (Intelligence Quotient), Achievement, cognitive development, and Kindergarten Readiness & Early Entry for WCPSS. She also specializes in custom evaluations and treatment for Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, depression, and anger. CHRISTINA C. RUSH, Ph.D.
Dr. Rush received her Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University. She specializes in the assessment and solution-focused treatment of children, teenagers, and college students. Dr. Rush works with families coping with anxiety, depression, anger, separation, and trauma. Her therapy expertise often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and also focuses on issues related to effective discipline strategies, child behavior issues, adjustments, sleeping disturbances, childhood obesity, eating disorders, drinking, peer pressure, stress, domestic violence, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, date rape, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), and empowerment. Additionally, Dr. Rush has experience in conducting academic and psychological evaluations, including Learning Disability (LD), AG, IQ, Achievement, ADHD, ADD, Aspergers Syndrome, Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Readiness for Kindergarten, OCD, and Bipolar Disorder testing. BRANDIS McMILLAN, B.A.
Brandis McMillan is interning at Wynns Family Psychology for the 2010-2011 school year as a part of her required training to become a licensed Marriage and Family therapist.  As an undergraduate student at North Carolina Central University she studied both Psychology and Child Development & Family Studies.  Currently she is completing her master’s degree program at Liberty University’s School of Counseling and Family Studies.  Prior to interning at Wynns Family Psychology, Brandis worked with children in a variety of settings and age groups.

As a graduate student, Brandis’ clinical interests focus on treating children’s social phobia, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, AD/HD, Autism, anxiety, and depression.  She works within a family systems orientation when helping children and their families.  Brandis enjoys helping families learn and grow together as well as helping children reach their potential and lead happy and enjoyable lives.  Brandis brings her enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to helping families to Wynns Family Psychology.
